1. Overview
FixJob ("FixJob", "we", "us", or "our") connects customers with service professionals ("workers"). This Privacy Policy applies to the FixJob mobile app, the FixJob service, and support interactions relating to the app.
2. Information we collect
Depending on whether you use FixJob as a customer or worker and which features you choose, we may collect the following:
| Category | Examples | Why we need it |
|---|---|---|
| Account and contact information | Name, email address, phone number, account ID, referral code, role, and authentication information. | Create and secure your account, identify you, communicate with you, and manage referrals. |
| Profile and professional information | Profile photo, service categories, skills, business name, business description, company address, gallery images, working schedule, and availability. | Display and manage worker profiles, match customers with workers, and schedule services. |
| Location information | Precise or approximate coordinates, saved addresses, city, location nickname, and booking/job address. | Show nearby workers, save customer locations, support bookings and navigation, and calculate distance to jobs. |
| Booking and transaction records | Requested service, customer and worker details, appointment date/time, booking status, price-related details, saved job location, reviews, reschedule activity, and QR verification events. | Create and manage bookings, provide safety and verification features, resolve disputes, and maintain service history. |
| Worker finance information | Invoices, expenses, amounts, descriptions, customer name and phone shown on an invoice, issue dates, and payment status. | Provide worker finance and invoice features. PDF invoices are generated on your device before you choose to share them. |
| User content and support data | Photos you select, reviews, descriptions, bypass reasons, and information you send when seeking support. | Provide the feature you requested, keep the marketplace useful, and respond to support requests. |
| Device and notification information | Push-notification token, operating system/platform, app version, and basic request information such as IP address and timestamps recorded by servers. | Deliver booking notifications, maintain compatibility, secure the service, prevent misuse, and diagnose operational issues. |
We receive information directly from you, automatically from your device when you grant a permission or use the service, from the other party to a booking, and from identity providers you choose to use.
3. Location information and sharing
If you grant location permission, the app may read your device's precise location:
- to let customers choose or save a service location and find workers near that location;
- to update a worker's current work location and calculate the distance to customer jobs;
- to display maps, place search results, and directions; and
- to attach the location you select to a booking.
Who can see location information?
A booking's saved job address or coordinates may be shown to the worker involved in that booking so the worker can assess distance and navigate to the job. Worker location is used to provide nearby-worker and distance features; we do not provide customers with a live, continuously updating worker location. Google may process map, place-search, and directions requests under its own privacy terms.
Your controls
You can deny or withdraw location permission in iOS or Android settings. You may also manually enter or select an address where that option is available. Disabling location may limit nearby-worker, current-location, job-distance, map, or navigation features. Saved locations can be edited or deleted in the app.
5. Camera, QR codes, and photos
FixJob asks for camera access only when you choose to scan a referral QR code or a booking identity-verification QR code. QR scanning is performed through the camera view; we use the resulting code to complete the action you requested. FixJob does not use the camera for continuous monitoring.
The app asks for photo-library access only when you choose an image for a profile, business gallery, or related upload. We receive only the images you select or otherwise choose to upload. You can withdraw camera or photo permission in device settings, although scanning and image-upload features will then be unavailable. Where offered, you may type a referral code instead of scanning it.

We keep personal information while your account is active and for as long as reasonably necessary to provide FixJob, complete bookings, maintain transaction and safety records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, and meet legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory requirements. Retention periods vary by the type of data and the reason it is held. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
Request account and data deletion
You may initiate deletion by emailing FixJob Support from the email address associated with your account. Use the subject “FixJob Account Deletion” and include the phone number or email used for the account. We may ask for limited additional information to verify ownership.
Request account deletionDeleting the app does not delete your account. After a verified request, we delete or de-identify account data unless retention is required for legal compliance, fraud prevention, safety, disputes, or legitimate record-keeping. Data may remain temporarily in encrypted backups until those backups cycle out.
10. Security and international processing
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including authenticated access and encrypted network connections. No electronic transmission or storage method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Keep your credentials confidential and contact us if you believe your account has been compromised.
